Downloading
Instructions
Follow these simple instructions to
obtain your FREE Accounting Program.
1. It is recommended that the file is downloaded into a
directory C:\ARIES You are advised to create this directory in advance. Use the
following procedure.....
- Access File Manager from
Windows
- Select File/Create
Directory
- Type C:\ARIES in the Name
box & click on OK.
2. Click on the word DOWNLOAD when you are ready
to receive the file. The file size is approx 1.2 Megabytes.
3. You will be asked into which Directory you wish to load the file -
select C:\ARIES and wait for the downloading to complete.
4. Access File/Run from your Program Manager and type C:\ARIES\ARIES then
select OK. This will expand the compressed file. Nothing much will be apparent
at this stage but when the files have been expanded access File/Run again and
this time type C:\ARIES\SETUP and click on OK. This will install the program,
create a program group and give you the appropriate icons. There is also an
Uninstall included.
5. When the program has loaded, you are recommended to first look at the
Help file which gives a useful guide to the functionality of the program.
6. You are free to use the program to record your business transactions
without any financial obligation at all. If you wish to some of the services
provided by ARIES then you can do so on a "try before you buy"
principle.
